Elsollasor was founded in 2017 by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah after witnessing the financial struggles faced by many Ghanaians despite their hard work and determination. Having spent years researching financial behavior and economic development, Dr. Nkrumah realized that financial education in Ghana often focused on abstract concepts rather than practical, culturally relevant strategies.
What began as small community workshops in Kumasi has now grown into a comprehensive financial education platform serving students and working adults across Ghana and beyond. Our name, "Elsollasor," combines elements of various Ghanaian languages to represent our core philosophy: the sun (El) rises (sor) for all who prepare for it through discipline and planning (la).
